Aoi is requested to produce and star in her own music video to promote Futuring Girl, but she struggles to come up with an idea until some support from her friends inspires her to start with a simple idea and work up from there.
Aoi has just finished filming for the drama she stars in. To her surprise, she finds Orihime in the green room, and is told that she will be producing, starring, and singing in her own music video for Futuring Girl. The top designer specifically asked for her to do it and a message appears from the designer. He explains that because Aoi understands his brand the most out of everyone, and because of her idol knowledge and abilities, he is sure that she can deliver something great.
In the cafeteria, Aoi explains how she had to record the song they wished for her to use in the video. Ichigo is surprised by how many music videos Aoi spent time watching earlier, while Ran mentions how many different kinds there are in total. Aoi compares it to an advertisement and explains that while she isn't entirely sure what she wants to do, she knows how important it is to show both herself, and Futuring Girl to everyone. She has to present her idea to everyone the following day, and only has nineteen hours remaining.
Then, Yurika approaches and she mentions that she didn't have too much time to make her commercial either. She explains how everything began very simple and easy to follow. The producer and director talked to one another and came up with the idea to add morning cereal and Yurika, a vampire of the night, together. It was up to her to put some ideas into it afterwards. This helps Aoi decide that she should be starting with something very simple and small. But once more she is unsure of how to go about it since she wants to showcase the outfit she's wearing. This makes her realize that a fashion show music video would be the best place to start and she thanks everyone for their help before she starts to write her ideas down. Ran then decides she can help with the fashion show part, while Ichigo hopes she can help somewhere too.
Later that evening as Ichigo tries to sleep, she notices that Aoi is still awake and going through many of the Futuring Girl coords while listening to music. Ichigo quietly wishes her luck, then returns to sleep.
The following day, Aoi explains how excited she is to be working on this music video to the staff that she'll be working with. The secretary for Futuring Girl then asks Aoi for her ideas and she gets up to present it. The main idea will be that she is putting on a fashion show, while showing some alternating trends amongst other girls. However, Aoi admits that she is unsure of a way to present this. The staff tells Aoi that they like the idea, and they have plenty to work with, so they are sure they can help her. While Aoi is relieved that her idea was successful amongst the crew, they still needed to film the video and finalize some parts.
First, they begin with deciding which outfits would work best in the music video. Aoi especially wants to showcase the Lucky Pilot Coord, and she explains that while it is simple, it shows off some of the style of Futuring Girl. She decides that she wants to showcase it with a few other Futuring Girl coords as well, such as the Crystal Aquarius Coord. She believes this will let the world see just how diverse the brand is. Everyone agrees with the idea, and she reveals that she wants to include the Prism Cyber Coord for use too, because it can't be left out.
With the outfits out of the way, the next step is to decide the stage. They decided to create a simple runway, since the music video would be like a fashion show. The next part of creating the music video involves figuring out the choreography. Aoi goes to Johnny for help and he helps her create coreography to go along with the song, but is abruptly interruped by a phone call. He explains to Aoi that an issue has occurred and the runway has to be smaller then they thought; meaning the choreography needed to be changed, much to Aoi's shock. They call Ran to help teach Aoi how to walk properly on a runway, even when she has to work with tight space.
While talking to her mom on the phone, Ichigo decides that she wants to bring Aoi some snacks during her work, but she's unsure of what to bring her. Ringo suggests something light that Aoi can eat quickly, so that it isn't disruptive to her work.
The next morning, Aoi woke up early to head out to the filming location for the music video. Ichigo also gets up early to start the plan her mother thought up for her, and pulls a huge sack out of her closet. She sets it onto the floor to pull out a big, furry, blue, rabbit costume head. She changes into the outfit and goes to meet with Raichi, who is surprised to see her dressed in such an outfit.
They head inside and try to find Aoi's filming location. Raichi thinks Ichigo might embarrass Aoi, but she thinks it's fine because their mother told her how it can be vital to inject some fun into a harsh environment. They think about a story Ringo had told them; around the time she was still in Masquerade. She and Hime had been very tired after filming on Christmas Eve, but after finding everyone dressed up with Christmas items and cakes, it cheered them up. Raichi claims that while that event made sense, a rabbit doesn't. The two then head inside once the "On Air" light turns off, and there they find a bunch of strangely dressed up people.
They are greeted by Aoi, who is very happy to find Ichigo dressed in her bunny suit. Ichigo tells her it was due to her mothers advice, and Aoi finds it very cute. Aoi goes on to explain that everyone decided to dress up in alien-inspired outfits, so that they can keep Aoi from getting stressed out and have fun. Raichi and Ichigo unveil the refreshments they brought but due to pressed time, Aoi has to get back to work. She thanks them and lets them stay behind and watch before leaving.
Because of everyone's aid, Aoi was able to relax and have fun during the filming. She explains how they used the Aikatsu system to create stage effects, and also goes on to describe the three kinds of scenes in music videos. There's the lip sync scene, where you need to match your mouth movement to the lyrics, the second is the dance scene, and the final is image scene, where acting, animation, and CG come into play.
Ichigo and Raichi compliment how well Aoi did for the video. She tells them that at first, she was worried about messing up, but ended up having so much fun that she forgot about most of her worries. They head back to watch the video playback and thought it was nice, however, Aoi feels as though something is still missing. The crew agrees, but they are unsure of what the missing thing is. Aoi suggests they add some simple choreography to it, and they go through with it.
Ichigo's phone then begins to ring as she recieves a message. Ichigo apologizes for interrupting, and Aoi watches her flail around, trying to grab her phone with the large paws of her rabbit costume. This is inspires Aoi, and she shows it to the director. He agrees that it is nice and they restart filming after he warns Aoi that they only have enough time to get it done in a single take.
Soon after the video was edited, a special viewing event is held to present the new music video. Aoi's friends have shown up, along with Johnny and Orihime. Aoi is happy to see them and thanks them for coming and it is announced that the showing will begin. They are all seated and watch as the music video for "stranger alien" begins.
After it finishes, everyone compliments the video. Orihime also compliments Aoi's work from a distance. Rei, Futuring Girl's top designer, is shown watching the video from his office.
